$2 a Day
$2 a Day is an opportunity for our congregation to voluntarily walk in solidarity with a person living in poverty. The title is based on the fact that 2/3 of the world without access to clean water, live on less than $2 a Day. By choosing an experience from those shared at church, we are voluntarily laying down our privilege and entering into a process of identification with them. Consequently, we will be making room for God to challenge our habits and expand our world-view. Each day we will post scripture verses to encourage you on your journey and we encourage you to blog about your experience.
